Evolving Emergent Technology Through Simulation

I have often recommended biomimicry as a means of providing existing technological solutions. This would somehow imply that the biological and technological aren't one and the same. In fact, that is not the case. Producing new DNA solutions through biotechnology is a technological process, few would dispute that even cloning which uses identical DNA is a technology. If you reproduce a biological organism exactly, and the final product of your technology is a biological organism, does it not follow that this organism is technology? If you agree, then it is a simple step of seeing that the identical copy from which this cloned organism was produced, is technology as well. Thus all biology is technology.

Now. Because biology is technology, and because evolution is the field in which this technology is perfected and produced to fit particular environmental constraints, it naturally follows that firstly, technology evolves due to environmental constraints, secondly it evolves like the evolutionary biological counterparts due to the ecosystem of existing technologies and exists within that ecosystem, thirdly to a significant extent the evolutionary process is emergent and autonomous both for biological organisms and for technology.

So why not instead of just copying read made biological examples to produce technologies, create a simulation where technologies given particular constraints are produced through an evolutionary simulation process until a desired product that fits the set ecosystem perfectly is created? For instance, let us say a road vehicle is to be produced and maximum and minimum body sizes of potential customers along with their anthropomorphic properties are set as parameters for the simulation. Other constraints can be placed, like width of the road, length of parking spaces, height of garages, and other such things. Maybe the maximum allowed speed limit should be considered as something the vehicle should not be made to significantly exceed?

The point here is that technologies can be evolved from existing parameters and technological ecosystems, to produce desired outcomes through simulation, not necessarily through human innovation. The simulation should be that of many different species of products, which in turn will have different qualities and parameters to fit the particular ecosystem. The constraints in the simulation can be changed, to get better outcomes and fine tune the final simulated product. The design can be made global to fit all human consumers, or can be made to fit existing human technology like for instance navigation systems fit cars or planes, or these can be stand alone products that interact with the natural environment for a particular purpose.

My evolving emergent technology through simulation solution works for biological, mechanical, robotic and cybernetic technologies. Consider that for simulation of biological organisms this approach can be taken in two ways, firstly alerting DNA to see how organisms will come out and testing them, or simulating the design of organisms and programming them with DNA to make them when they have desired parameters. In case of cybernetic programs consider a virus that is meant to hack a particular system. Let us say a number of viruses are simulated, evolved, tweaked and tested against the platform they are meant to infiltrate, instead of finding wholes in it, as in a natural ecosystem with bacteria and viruses that evolve until one achieves success in infection, those that succeed are the ones that will proliferate... and deliver their cargo. When it comes to kitchen appliances and gadgets for the fridge... you can stick with Quirky, an innovation platform which by the way... was also my idea.

The idea being to get vehicles from point A to B at 200 miles an hour, rather than using existing highways at their far slower speeds."

So. I DID invent the satellite laser relay, the hyperloop and laser powered spacecraft in relay for interstellar missions, ask ESA. And I did invent the fucking hyperloop. Moreover, if you don't know how to make it, I did gave you a blueprint to make it go hypersonic using existing propulsion and magnetic levitation technologies.

kuffodog said…
Hyperloop can be accelerated magnetically for short trips to ~300 mph, then made to go faster by using rockets, as long as the pod continues to levitate. Because the track is nearly friction-less with no air resistance, it should be able to coast at high velocity using a hybrid of rocket and magnetic propulsion technologies. Maglev propulsion up to 300 mph can make the ride smooth and not crush people into their seats, which the rocket propulsion can be set to whatever coasting velocity one wants. Even hypersonic.

Instead of disarming, the two biggest nuclear offenders decided to increase and improve their nuclear arsenals.

States that have nuclear submarines, should expect similar fate to Russia and USA, and because Russia and USA did not get the message, Russia and USA will lose another nuclear sub each. This means China, UK, France, USA and Russia will be losing a nuclear armed submarine each.

The best virus to use to exterminate mankind is one that exists in the human virome but one that can spread easily between humans. This way it will neither be noticed as it spreads, nor will any immunity exist as it will be thought to be benign.

kuffodog said…
Clearly the best mechanism for pathogens to be quickly effective before remedies can be sought is to have the virus quickly replicate so it is lethal within 24 hours. Kill rate should be near 100%. The part that is interesting about these viruses is how quickly then reproduce to become lethal, not the way they kill.

kuffodog said…
Two or three pathogen payloads can be used so immunity to their synergy doesn't exist. Ebola Zaire kills 90%, combined with a viral payload that causes Meningitis it should work fine. Add a DNA piece for Spanish Flu or equivalent and you're good to go. These should lay dormant inside the virus that is naturally occurring within the human virome and benign, and timed to become active with the three viruses striking simultaneously. So basically everyone infected across the entire attacked population gets these three diseases that can kill within 24 hours all at once. They won't even be able to seek help. Kill rate will be near 100%, as no medical staff will be able to help... they too will not survive.

Someone asked how I've helped the US veterans:

1. service dogs to help with PTSD
2. taking homeless vets off the streets
3. using regional infantry to fight ground wars (Libya, Iraq, Somalia, Afghanistan, Syria) - (eliminates combat fatalities, injuries and PTSD)
4. transitioning Navy cruise missiles from nuclear to conventional for greater capability (reduces need for ground forces involvement with more precision strikes)
5. various DARPA programs - some to do with prosthetic devices
6. national health care or the Affordable Care Act
7. various technological improvements to reduce fatality rates, increase operational awareness
8. I stopped the US intervention in Syria by fielding the idea for the Assad regime to remove chemical weapons stockpiles voluntarily after the 2013 Ghouta chemical attack, hence no US ground troop aided ISIS, AQ, al-Nusra and others in fighting the Assad regime... thus no new injured and disabled vets were generated fighting a war on behalf of terrorist groups.
9. my overall work to improve US tech, space and other industries with innovation, new business models and other such things, grew the economy and with it the US defense budget... which now keeps US soldiers in war zones safer than are civilians in US urban areas.

My basic idea is prevention and rehabilitation: don't create veterans who are forced out of the military by disability, mental illness, criminal charges or injury. Whatever keeps soldiers free from injury, allows them to make the right decisions, keeps them well informed and well equipped... will not create a wounded warrior. The existing wounded warriors on the other hand, should be rehabilitated and encouraged to take advantage of their skills and the ability to further pursue education, education that can render their disabilities less of a hindrance in the civilian labor market.

Anyway, I don't remember all the things I've come up with or said to do, that would have these preventive and rehabilitative effects for American veterans. Things in research and healthcare that I've advocated, solicited or innovated can all be considered as helping the veterans, as veterans consistently rely the healthcare industry to rehabilitate or treat long term health problems.

I recall that Margaret Brennan once tweeted Dora the Explorer, kind of mocking me that I wanted to keep boots off of the ground in Iraq and Syria. You have boots on the ground in Syria patrolling, after the administration antagonized the local population. They get blown up. US can fight a war front in the Middle East, or target terrorist groups from the air, US has no business patrolling or occupying cities. That is a job for the local police and military that is going to hold the territory, and they will neither be capable nor willing to hold and control any territory, if they have not fought for it and won it in battle. Even when they do win it in battle and there is a dispute, the territory can easily change hands: consider Kurdistan giving up territory to Iraq without much of a fight after they have defeated ISIS to control it.

To sum up. The best way to help a US veteran, is to help the soldier who will inevitably become a veteran, do his or her job in such a way so that they're not physically or mentally injured and can use the skill and benefits gained to seamlessly transition into the civilian economy when they're out of service, while creating the right environment for them to do so.

It's a better strategy. Compare US troop fatalities for when I took the reigns of the runaway War on Terror chariot, vs prior to 2011. My record speaks for itself. Now compare the human cost among US military, long term financial cost associate with healthcare for the vets and the actual cost of operations.

So. Colombia will now be on USA's side in attacking the 'state sponsor of terrorism' Venezuela, and Brazil saw an evangelical Christian, a captain who looks like a US soldier, installed as president. Trump like Bush will be a 'war president', and thus US will be under martial law with everything being defrauded including court testimony with people attacked under mind control by the US regime, thus no possibility of impeachment. Guyana has already been ostracized by Venezuela itself. Slick.

The Maduro regime is literally surrounded by enemies, including domestically by the opposition and in the north by US Navy parked off Venezuelan coast.

"A Pentagon report released Thursday described North Korea’s missile and nuclear program as an “extraordinary threat” to the United States, warning that the U.S. must “remain vigilant” despite ongoing diplomatic engagement with the North."

That's the country whose Chairman Kim befriended Trump and which just built the beach resort, even under sanctions which are meant to prevent the 'elites' from buying 'luxury goods'. DPRK is an "extraordinary threat" to the United States per Pentagon.

Number of articles on "Clinton e-mails", a torrent over several years.

"Fake news" coverage of the 773 million email addresses exposed in ‘mega data breach’... well, we're used to the NSA and CIA hacking everything, so probably a curious side note for a few days.

American culture exported to Germany: guns and the KKK.

"Around 200 police officers, including special ops, took part in the operation, searching 12 addresses across eight German states, prosecutors of Baden-Wurttemberg said on Wednesday. Law enforcement targeted a far-right group which calls itself the National Socialist Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Deutschland."

Trump doesn't want war, not against Russia, not against Korea, not against Venezuela, not in Syria, not in Afghanistan. So now he's apparently ran out his usefulness, being that Bolton is staging one with Iran and Venezuela, both.

This of course makes Pence look 'presidential' with labels like "the wolf pack of rouge states" in case he does get the seat in the White House, he promises war to silence critics.

Saddam Hussein offered to privatize Iraq's oil to avoid invasion.

Here's what I propose.

Before going to war to overthrow the Maduro regime, USA should offer an ultimatum:

- Venezuela should privatize portion of its oil reserves
- give access to private oil companies from US and elsewhere
- return to democratic structure of governance
- Maduro should resign or promise not to seek reelection

In return:

- US should lift all sanctions
- bring in oil companies and investment
- legitimize the use of Venezuelan cryptocurrency

EU diplomats raised questions about the real agenda of the February 13-14 conference on Friday, saying it was organised at very short notice and noting that Iran did not appear to be invited.

An EU official said the bloc's foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, had other commitments and would not attend."

To whom does the Earth belong to?

'“Then God said, ‘Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.’” (Genesis 1:26)

Some may interpret – and have interpreted – this as a divine green light to exploit the planet, but the Hebrew wording suggests something altogether different. The terms used affirm humankind’s provisional authority – authority for a time – to care for creation in God’s place. The language does not point to a mandate to dominate; it describes a responsibility to protect.'

https://www.westminstermpls.org/2018/04/27/to-whom-does-the-earth-belong/

The Earth does not belong to humans. Humans are temporary inhabitants of Earth. The Earth is a common good, not only for humans, but all living things on it. Any 'Elohim', computer people or extraterrestrials who have interdicted, co-inhabit or visit Earth during the evolutionary time scale of human presence on the planet are no less entitled to be here than mankind. Homo genus for most of the 7 million years of its evolution has been primitive and did not form organized civilizations. Modern man is only around for 300,000 years and nearly got totally wiped out 70,000 year ago. The neolithic revolution has only started some 12,500 years go. Humans believe that there was an interdiction which resulted in the creation of both modern man and the start of the neolithic revolution. If those who intervened were indigenous to Earth, it naturally follows that they have as much right to use the planet and reside on it as humans do. If they were external from Earth, the same is true, as man was but one of many predatory mammalian species with little or no civilized structures. To continue this logic: since Earth does not BELONG to humans, no humans should individually or as a group usurp the absolute rights to any portion of planet Earth.
