Americans Have to Accept the End of Their Rule of Terror.

A fighter or a sports star is always at a disadvantage. Records can only be broken. The game continually improves. Equipment gets better. People grow bigger and stronger. Nutrition science advances. Training methods accrue experience and are continually improved. A fighter or a sports star ages. The competition always stays young. It always seeks to copy his or her successes... and improves on it. Eventually, a time comes when even the best are beaten or have to retire. Even if they retire early without tasting defeat, their records are invariably broken.

This works the same way for nation states and empires. Economies, militaries and populations continually change, migrate, age, mingle. The problem that Americans have, is that they try to stop competitors from gaining enough strength to where the American hegemony is overcome. They use terrorism, fraud, blackmail, invasions, propaganda or whatever it takes to stay ahead. They are not sportsman like, even though they use the false narrative of fair play to impose sportsman like rules on everyone else. Every genocidal criminal regime was like that. Every one lost power and hegemony as a result. Some saw violent civil wars, including the United States itself. Others splintered apart. Many simply faded away entirely, even their languages disappearing out of use. Americans already lost their hegemony to new supranational social compacts when USSR engaged USA in the Cold War. Americans cling to Cold War dreams of winning it and winging it again to stay on top. Just like the Gulf War was to rehabilitate the American military after the humbling experience of Vietnam, but instead descended into the abysmal atrocities of War on Terror and all the evil associated with it.

Americans seeing the U.S.S.R. and the Warsaw Pact disassemble and evolve into new structures thought that NATO and NAFTA came out on top. They fail to see that China has surpassed the US GDP by some $6 trillion and while America is $22 trillion in debt, it is PRC that holds $1.138 trillion of it as of October 2018. Americans fail to see that it is the European Union's military that is the new structure which replaced NATO and that the USSR model was never defeated, but arose like a Phoenix with the rebirth of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Russian Federation itself is composed of many peoples and ethnicities. Then there are the African Union. The European Union. The Union of South American Nations. The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation has four nuclear powers in it and a total military strength that eclipses the combined forces of the rest of the world, including the USA, EU and all of NATO.

Economically USA is in third place, but its regime deludes itself that GDP PPP is not a real measure of economic strength as the US dollar is still the primary reserve currency and thinks that the European Union can be splintered into pieces like USSR was before it with Grexit, Brexit or Dexit. Americans still try to impose the rule of the IMF and World Bank on countries their regime has historically exploited, then destabilized to invade and confiscate their resources. These institutions have been replaced by ECB and AIIB. China and EU have replaced American belligerence in South America, Africa and Asia with investment, foreign aid, building of cultural ties, diplomacy, connective infrastructure and funding of nation building instead of Americans' sadistic destruction of cities in perpetual wars, building of one occupying military base after another and arming ruthless dictators to their teeth or supplying terrorists with arms to overthrow governments that refused to bow to American demands.

The reality of a multi-polar world is not approaching, it is already here. The problem is that Americans are still refusing to accept it and try to compete in cutthroat criminal ways to get back on top or to pretend that they still are on top. Russia, China and the European Union have moved on beyond Americans' military, cyberspace, transportation and space access capabilities in new weapons systems, research, innovation and infrastructure. This gap will only widen. Time has time for the United States to find its new place in the world. Isolationism may be a short term fix to get better bearings of the new geopolitical realities, but it is not a long term solution.
